Okay, so I'm not really comfortable with the whole match.com thing, I feel like I'm shopping; I hate shopping (unless it's for camera equipment, then I love it!) Mate shopping is just wrong. Besides, I'm a creature of habit, I'd rather meet someone who is already in my neck of the woods, already knows people I know, already spends time in some of the same places I do. I realize this closes a lot of doors for me but I'm okay with that. So I've already canceled my match.com subscription and in less than a month my account will be disabled.

A friend said the other day, "people don't meet organically anymore", she might have a point there, but I refuse to accept it as fact. People in the actual world, not just the virtual world, are drawn together by common interests and I prefer to meet someone that way. Case closed.
